Well, maybe the same size as my "night pens" I made some out of scrap plywood and 2X4. They are 4X5 roughly with the upper 6-12" left open which I will put 2x2 wire on . (for ventilation, I live in Ga.) a tin roof, scraps. And a screened door with kennel wire and hardware cloth. 1/2 . That is about 20 sq. feet intended for up to 3 geese.(smaller ones). I reserched how much they might need as a night pen and it was like 4 sq. ft. min. per bird. They are taller in front by about a foot , sloping back. I also left a 4" opening in the back of one side that I will screen so I can hose them out if I use rubber mats or pond rock for the bottom.(These are inside 4 foot fenced, day yard with hot wire top and bottom.
