Question for BS experts (and I mean that in the nicest possible way)...

Quote: How old are they? How many males? How many females? I give my peafowl 50mg/kg, which works out to 150-220mg for the adult females and 200-300mg for the adult males. How much medicine to you want to give them (how many mg/k)? Did your bag come with a measuring scoop?

1peacock and 4 hens. They are 1yr old in August. No measuring scoop. But I want to feed enough to do some good. Don't get me wrong I have seen no synthoms! Nor do I want any! It kills all kinds of worms!

About one half the bag would be a good dosage. Safeguard is pretty safe so you should not have an overdose problem at all. I know a pretty good size breeder who uses the pellets but they grind them smaller. You'll just have to see if they will eat them.

Thats a good dosage for all five I should add.  That would be about 230 mg per bird.

They eat laying pellets now. They waisted too much using the crumbles they use to get 28% protein now it's 15% protein I hope it's enough..

Thanks for posting this Margaret. I've also got some of those pellets I would like to use. Let us know if they eat them, please.

I'm going to guess girl, based on nothing other than size.
