Question for European members: Where do you buy your chicks?

Other than from local breeders of course. This question has been bugging me for a while. Are you guys allowed to purchase chicks from other countries? Do you have hatcheries that you purchase from? Do agricultural supply stores carry them?

Hatcheries only supply commercial units here. Live chicks are not sent in the post here. Agricultural supply stores don't have live chicks for sale. So breeders - proper ones and other ones - are the only option for live chicks. Hatching eggs do get sent in the post, but usually with poor results.
It is theoretically possible to buy from abroad but the costs are prohibitive.

Check your online classified adds... you should find some chicks there.
