question for silky rooster owners

are they just as loud as regular roosters when they crow? i know it's a stupid question, but i want to ask anyway.

the reason i ask is cuz i'm not allowed to have roosters in the city and this guy is hatching silkies this month and i really want one. but he can not sex them.

yeah, silkies are tough to sex. If you get some, be prepared to wait awhile before you can tell.

Our's never fully crowed. He kind of made a sound like he had laryngitis. We thought we had two hens and then one day he started making that sound and we were like Oh!
