Question lesion in mouth of EE.

We let the chicks out today and the EE went with the other chicks but then i noticed she was just standing there and slight fluff to her feathers. I was able to pick her up, she is really thin and i opened her beak and she has a moderate size lesion on the right side of the mouth inside that is grey and and can almost say that is looks like grey cottage cheese. I have had chicks for 5-6 years and never seen anything like this would anyone have and idea on this. I have her in the house in a play pen, so i can see if she is eating at all.

Can you get a picture of the lesion inside the beak? Is she eating and drinking okay? The mouth can be sore and weight loss is common. It can also cause blockage of the airway. Does she have a bad odor? Canker may be the problem, and it is best treated with metronidazole. Fish Zole is the same, available online, and in pet stores as API General Cure. Thanks for info, I will get some meds for her today. Inhave not taken a pic . She is not eating or drinking . I have tube feed her.
