Question of candling?

I broke down yesterday and tried to candling.
Don't really understand what we seen.
All 6 Duck egg's looked like a big blob of dark mass.
With some light space in it. It was day 7.
If this makes any sense.
Is there somewhere that has pic"s to look at somewhere?
I'm so confused

I think I have something that may help. At the top of the page go to, Learning Center, Then go to, How to pages, then, candler construction & day 8 pics. Hope that helps a little and there is more somewhere. I'm not sure if it's the same for ducks as chickens. Someone else will be able to help more I sure.

Most ducks take 28 days incubation, so the pics will be slightly different for duck eggs versus chicken eggs. http://www.duckhealth.com/hatcduck.html What kind of ducks are you hatching?

Ok looking at the pic's it looks simaler. So maybe everything is fine.
I didn't put the eggs on there sides. So maybe not. I'll wait a few more days and look again. I added chick eggs yesterday.

The ducks are suppose to be Khaki Campbells. Is what I was told.
I couldn't wait till Spring. Just had to try something.
I sure hope it works out. I've got this BUG BAD.
