The knowledge of the experts and the fact that they help you treat a chicken without vet help. Lots of us will never take a chicken to a vet, we prefer to treat ourselves and I appreciate the knowledge shared

The very best thing about BYC, with the notable exception of all the wonderful people you meet, is that no matter what the emergency and no matter what time of the day (or night,) there is always someone here to help with the panic moments!

I like BYC because it is a CLEAN site. The moderators do a GREAT JOB, to see that posts are appropriate. I could quote everyone that posted up to now,, and see/agree with them and their reasons.

After reading your favorite thing about BYC I'd suspect the mods have done an amazing job of shielding you from that guy.

It's one of the only places I've found on the internet where the knee jerk reaction to questions isn't "Go to a vet!' It's great to have a place to ask questions where people aren't herded towards total helplessness.
