Yes. Myself twice! It was hot and my husband had his phone on silent. I finally was able to contact the neighbor and she drove over to let me out. The second time, I was inside for 45 minutes, I was able to pray 3 rosaries between yelling/screaming my husband's name, as I did not have my phone.

Our elderly neighbor, the one come came over to let me out, locked herself in, while caring for the chickens...she called her daughter to come get her out.

We have since changed the latch to one that will not lock automatically when closed.

All were by accident but I did it twice! :he
 
I locked the neighbours cat inside the -no way to escape- run a few times. Once she stayed inside the run the whole night.

Birds like magpies get locked in quite often. They are too big to escape through the netting on top of the run.

The worst was a fox. He managed himself inside the run but couldn’t get out and panicked when he tried to get away.

Our coops are too small for humans. We take out the eggs and clean it from the outside. Maybe it will happen one day if I eat from Alices mushroom 🍄

Don't eat too much of the mushroom or the chickens might eat you!

I've never locked a person in a chicken coop but I have accidentally shut free-range chickens inside human houses. And a car. And a toolshed and a lambing shed and a byre.
