Mostly English (dressage, 3-day, jumpers, hunters, pleasure), but I have ridden western (used to do gymkhana). What sort of showing do you do?

Just local, hunter/jumper

Have you ever ridden a horse? Yes, I started riding when I was twelve and got my first horse when I was fourteen.

Yes, but only a couple of times and I rode a pony once. Both times, someone else held the reigns.

I love horses and rode for a few years and participated in a horse show. I've always wanted one but it never worked out.

I rode for years, bought my first horse when 35, when we finally had land and could do it. An Arabian mare, who had three foals for me, one a favorite riding horse for decades. They are all gone now, and then Trakehners, and foals, and we still have four, retired pasture pets, because as mentioned, the ground gets harder every year, and I'm not riding.
It was fun, a little jumping, and then dressage and trail riding. Loved it, but not any more.

My friends and I found a pony and broke it to ride after it bucked us off.We were paid a reward for finding the pony after posting it in a local paper but it took him a year to show.
