Yes? We've had a pony for years. She's a dutch warmblood/welsh pony cross and she's 23 now. Her name is Emma. My daughter hasn't really ridden her in a few years because of her gym schedule, but we lease her out to our barn to be used for kids lessons. She's super gentle and loves to work, so they work her 4-5 days a week. My daughter goes out at least one day a week and lunges or rides her bareback and just hangs out.
Oh wow that’s awesome!! I don’t think I’ve ever heard you talk about her.

I don't talk about her a lot. And since I'm usually only around her when my daughter's working her, I don't post recent pics either. Internet is full of pervy trash humans and I will not willingly allow them access to photos of my daughter any more.

She's also a roller, and she's filthy except right after she gets a bath while she's still tied to the rail and getting groomed. Brat. :p I'll try and remember to grab a photo next time she's clean.

Totally understandable!!!

My dad bought me my 1st pony when I was only 10 . My brother has one that looks just like him (nobody rides his horses, they're all rescues) I kept horses until I was in my 30's and loved being around them as much as riding them.I rode horses casually, never showed them.

Fortunately the (only) white horse I had wasn't a roller or I would have sold him long before I did! :lau

Yes, Me ex fiancé's family has a horse farm where they crossbred Andalusian and Percheron horses. It was fairly common for us to go ride whenever we visited them. Most of their horses were grey and were huge but extremely intelligent and gentle. I loved those horses because I didn't feel too big on them (6'1 and a fit 240) The city where I live now has a park where you can ride horses on certain days if you wish and I still go sometimes just to see the horses.
