Why did you first join BYC?

To get help & support treating blackhead (histomoniasis).

Probably because it was the main place I could find up to date, easy to understand information on keeping and breeding California Valley quail, wanted to have access to experienced breeders of them too. All the chicken stuff was a bonus.

I rescued a day old keet which was lame for three days, and was with me for three months. While searching for information about keets, I came across BYC. I liked what I saw and joined for the community.
