Hot Wheels or Matchbox?

I think if I'm remembering right the hardware in the Hot Wheels PC was really bad and they died fast.

I used Windows XP for ages. I've also used Windows 98, although I don't have any PCs from 1998. Oldest functioning PC is from around 2001 and has a Windows ME sticker on the side with a Windows XP sticker on the front. Not to mention the stack of tower PCs and laptops sitting around here.

And yes, you all can use the Windows ME key if you want. You'll need a OEM disc for it to work right (I think) but it works. No activation required. Terms and conditions apply.

Same here. Still have a tower with XP in the closet. I think I switched to flat screen monitors in around 2011. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

You might want to check that tower's capacitors. I have quite a few XP era devices with bad caps.
