Question of the Day - Saturday, February 17th, 2024

I've no desire to jump off/out of anything high, no matter how well I'm attached/supported.
I have been zip lining which really surprised the Princess.
My grandfather had a homemade zipline LONG before they were popular. He called it, "The slide for life." It was a triangle handle hanging from a cable that was tied between two trees. I did it from about 1/3 of the way up, so maybe 6 feet off the ground. Safety harness? :gig

I'd say to high end was 12-15 feet off the ground. The downhill end had a stop about 4-5 feet from the tree. It was a rather sudden stop, and you put out your leg to kick the tree as a "gentler" stop.

Have you ever been skydiving or bungee jumping? I have not and have no interest in doing either.
I've been Indoor skydiving several times. Some day I'll do the real thing, but my wife is not on board with that idea right now.

I have zero interest in organ martinis (bungee jumping). That doesn't seem at all like a fun time to me.

I would actually love to try indoor skydiving, no jumping out of a perfectly good airplane and no potentially falling to your death.
