I feel that, I try and answer any questions they ask to the best of my ability too and I think the fact I was dealing with wet fowl pox in my flock when I joined is why I never got around to an introduction. I pretty much went straight to the emergency sectionI think so? A belated one. They kinda annoy me, especially when the poor person is asking for help and instead they get pages and pages of "Welcome to BYC!" that you have to dig through in order to find the one helpful person who either answers the question or tries to guide them to the forum section where people will actually answer the question. I know it's just people trying to be friendly and it shouldn't annoy me so much, but I try to avoid the introductions section because of how much that one thing irritates me. I really should try to be like one of those kind folks guiding people to the emergencies section or whatever, rather than sit here and be Complainer MacComplainerson, but have you seen how I answer simple questions? I can't seem to leave the daily question thread without
writing out at least a paragraph's worth of details no one asked for in response to a yes or no question. I'd never manage to escape the keyboard if I took up the mantle of helpful greeter. And I'd make myself just as irritating as the good folks who annoy me, because you know dang well I will find a way to weave any scenario into a story about my geese, because my geese are awesome and everyone needs to hear about their awesomeness all the time - with accompanying pictures, of course.

People would chase me out of the introductions section with pitchforks, and rightfully so.
I do love the member interviews. They're always fun to read.
Oof, that's not fun. I'm grateful BYC is here as a resource for those sorts of things.I feel that, I try and answer any questions they ask to the best of my ability too and I think the fact I was dealing with wet fowl pox in my flock when I joined is why I never got around to an introduction. Nope, probably a bit too late at this point tbh
I mean, never too late.Did you ever make an Introduction thread when you joined BYC?
NO, I regret it.
I was not aware, I joined to seek help for my chicken and I was in a hurry to post a health issue.
When I started to be more active in BYC, I noticed people joined and some did the introduction thread and I love reading it and realised I did not do it or even post a hello I am new here.
Holy crap, lookie there!
I was surprised at how few people were welcoming back then.Holy crap, lookie there!
