I want more info on this shower audience. Cats? Children? Singing so loudly folks in the kitchen can hear? Is applause involved? If not, I see why you need a better audience!

Okay. When I had a more tolerant/ appreciative/ less critical audience. Or maybe I was just less self-conscious.

Plot twist, the shower was on the stage at an auditorium and performances were nightly to a packed house. They never knew who was behind the curtain.

I'm a compulsive whistler. If I have music on while in the shower, I'm whistling along. Sometimes even if I don't have music on.

As a kid I was asked if I could just mouth the words in church choir. I don't sing anywhere.

Sometimes I sing, usually I replay conversations with better answers than the one I gave. Sometimes I am rehearsing conversations I plan to have... I play the part of both people.

Thank you for this, I feel so much more normal now! I mean, I do this too. I think of it as editing reality I guess. Like red-penning the screenplay of my life.

I was kinda surprised no one else had said it before me!! I thought that was totally normal.

No, I talk to the wall. I do sing or hum whatever earworm has possessed me all day long so if I happen to do it in the shower I wouldn't really be purposefully belting. I used to sing in the shower a little as a kid, but mostly I made up riddles.
