I've seen them in zoos but I can't remember if I've seen them wild.

Yes, black bears. Mama and her cubs; Naples and Fort Myers FL..Too much construction going on and taking over their habitats

Bear, yes. Moose, no. When we went to my sister's cabin in the UP last month, we looked for moose but didn't see any. Even though the roads had moose crossing signs. How do the moose know where to cross?
