When you hang shirts or coats/jackets up on a hanger, does the opening of the garment face to the left or right?

Looking at the shirt on a hangar, the "hook" opens to the right? So probably opposite of most of you, because southpaw.

It faces whichever way it happened to get thrown on the hanger. The folks in this house know if they want clothing all facing one direction, they're welcome to hang everything up themselves.
