Indeed I do have a dog, not just 1, but 2. Tiny little dogs and one is a loud mouth dog, my neighbour commented that. :lau

If I don't give him treat, he does not bark. I think he is saying no pay, no work. I told him don't work, I rather you not bark at all, but he gives me this sad cute eyes and treat arrive and he bark up the whole area....grrr.

My Sammy is also an obnoxious barker but I think I have a handle on it now. I got a e-collar and have used it to keep him on the property (no fences here; I paid good money for underground fencing and the first time the garbage truck drove over it, it broke! :barnie ). Anyway I put it back on him and am using just the vibration setting for the barking, and - it's working like magic! :yesss: At night I take it off and put him on his training collar and 15-foot long line. He sleeps with me but knows he can't go out to bark at coyotes or anything, so he stays quiet. It has brought peace to the household, sanity to my soul ... and very likely lengthened his life!

Thank you. E-Collar, I have not hear of this, I will check this out. My little dog not just bark, he barks sound that hurt my eardrums and raises my blood pressure. He barks at people that have yet walk to our house, on the other side of the street, after they passed our house a few houses from us already.
 
Just be sure you understand how to use it. Try it on your own hand first, starting on the lowest setting. Timing and consistency are KEY.
 
2, a great pyrenees and a German short-haired pointer. Can't remember a time when I didn't have a dog living with me, family dogs. But the great pyrenees is the first dog that's solely mine, I couldn't ask for a better best Friend
