Except these are light and fluffy, almost dry. That was the closest photo I could find that looked like it. Bakeries here have them. Some cal them cow pies too as they make them big as a dinner plate.We would call it fry bread in these parts. That's what inspired elephant ears and they're mostly the same thing.
