Question of the Day - Thursday, October 10th, 2024

I have been by "The Mystery Spot" in Michigan's Upper Peninsula several times. When I say to my husband that we should stop and see it, he laughs and says no, so we have never stopped.

A friend has been there and says it was worth seeing, so maybe next time.

I would like to go to a haunted house some day.

The only unusual historical place I can think of right now is General Ambrose Burnside’s lone log cabin in the middle of a town in Indiana. There’s another one but I can’t remember what it was.

Copper Queen Mine, Bisbee, AZ. Ride a mine train into a historic copper mine and learn about how mining copper shaped the history of Arizona.

I've been to the site of a 19th century mill village called Old Job. It is located in the middle of the woods in Mount Tabor, Vermont. There are remains of buildings and a gigantic sawdust pile, but there is not much else left.
