Question of the Day - Thursday, October 10th, 2024

I'm not sure what counts as unusual. The National Museum of the Pacific War in Fredericksburg is one of my favorites. It can seem a bit odd to go to a German town in Texas and be surrounded by the history of the Pacific theater instead of the European theater if you didn't know going in that Fredericksburg was the hometown of Admiral Nimitz.

I went to the Elevator Museum in Massachusetts, USA. Not sure if it counts as a "historical site" but it's an interesting documentation of an oft-overlooked side of the past.

The best thing I saw there? This.
