We had a monkey for a while when I was a kid. Idk what kind it was but it was smallish.
It was never aggressive of dangerous towards use but it'd flat out tear the house up in a minute. I remember just about every time we let it out first thing it'd run around yanking all the curtains down then clear off the tables.
My mother hated that thing.

No, I live in Colorado. I'm just very concerned about a planet of the apes situation....
