The worst meal I had was a chicken stir fry in a "Chinese" restaurant. I didn't think it was possible to make it so badly I didn't want to eat it. I certainly didn't take the left overs home.
We followed that up by going to see Alien Resurrection. I would have walked out of the movie, but it was February, and way too cold to sit in the car.
All in all, not the best birthday dinner/night out I've ever had.
I ordered fish and chips in a restaurant. When I cut into the fish, I found it to be cooked on the outside but frozen on the inside. So much for fresh fish. Anywho, I sent it back to the kitchen saying that it had put me off eating for the rest of the day.
Chicken souvlaki (in Greece) - before I stopped eating chickens.
It tasted okay. But I got very sick the night after. Probably salmonella. It sort of ruined my vacation. Lucky we had a wonderful apartment with the best hostess ever who did everything she could to make me comfortable. Loved the see-view from my bed.
Sushi. This is back when a lot of my high school friends had been hoodwinked into thinking eating sushi was cool, when in reality all sushi restaurants are scams set up to trick people into eating fish bait.
BBQ brisket sammich, just last week. The place is usually awesome but that night it was terrible. And I mean "Chopped tire mixed in dirty motor oil and served on moldy bread" bad.
