Question of the day - Tuesday, February 11th, 2025

We have: 2 grandfather clocks that run on gravity, 2 old clocks that run on a wound spring, one old clock that runs on electricity, and probably one or two battery operated ones.

The electric and old ones are in need to repair of some kind. They're right twice a day. Really love to hear the grandfather clocks chime.
I have a grandfather clock that I built the case for. It is still in the box from when I moved here in 1987.

It needs cleaned, oiled and tuned.

One of our grandfather clocks was built by FIL. It runs very well for being 49 years old. The chimes are a bit off, it runs a bit fast, then slow, but not too much.

The other one is a Herman Miller clock that our boss gave his wife for their 10th anniversary. Why do we have it? Because they moved into an RV and were downsizing, so we bought it. With the money that had been Christmas bonuses from that boss.

Right above my desk.
