Can you do basic car maintenance (change a tire, change oil, replace wiper blades, etc...)?

Yes. I can do all of that and them some.

Wow. Um, no, and embarrassed to say it. Theoretically I should know how to change a tire, but last time I tried I couldn't get the lug nuts off to test the theory. I never think of my muscles as inadequate until I'm trying to get lug nuts off or open a pickle jar.

Remember when we used to do our own tune ups, gaping your plugs and points, timing and oil change the same time

I use to, plus bicycle and aeroplane maintenance, but not anymore.
