Wierdest thing your chickens have ever eaten?

I don't really know. I don't pay attention to what they eat.

Wife's hairball. She was cleaning her hairbrush and rolled up a hair ball to throw away and the dingbat chicken snatched it off the patio floor and gobbled it down.
We were so surprised we just looked at each other for like 5sec then started laughing. I did check up on the cockeral a few times, though.

I don't find what they eat weird; even the "weird" stuff doesn't seem weird, because it makes sense that a chicken would eat it.

A Gotcha fishing bait, they're made of some kind of rubber plastic mix soaked in attractant scent. Bird was fine.
