Do you use tools for a purpose besides that for which they were intended?

Yes, more often than I’d like to admit. My latest feat was using a tape dispenser to hammer a nail .

Use what you have.

I try.
But if I have to look for it, I might use something else to do do the job. Like using a knife instead of a screwdriver. A shoe or a piece of wood for a hammer. But most of all a sharp pointy knife to smear butter or jam on my sandwich.
