Either spring or fall, we usually get about two weeks of each.

I like them all but if forced to pick one I would probably say fall because here the warm weather extends all the way into winter sometimes.

Fall because of perfect weather, but we don't always get much of one. Bass fishing is decent, too. Spring a close second because weather again, and very good bass fishing. And, I like winter because we have a lot of mild days usually, and those days are decent for bass as well. Summer is just too hot, and definitely too humid, and bass fishing is tough when it is around 100F, so it mostly sucks.

I won't even talk about tornados which can put a damper on things sometimes.

In Texas it was Spring, which translates to late February/early March there before you're thrown into Summer until a little bit of Winter happens in January. Nothing beats Texas Wildflowers. Here, Spring is known as tick season, and Spring weather doesn't seem to exist until it's technically well into Summer. But Autumn is phenomenal, and there's actually a transition to it from Summer before heading into Winter, so Autumn is my favorite now.
