Cooking only kills some or a majority of it though, theres still whats left over, and chicken feed being mass produced is probably pretty unsanitary.

Can i ask why you wanted chicken feed bread?

Some bacteria release toxins that are not destroyed by heat or cold. Chicken feed was probably dry enough to not have those bacteria.
