No silly, you haven't consumed the rum if you used a spoon. So if you added rum to sherbet and ate it with the spoon THEN you did not consume the alcohol. šŸ¤“ It's all about the method of delivery
If you eat alcohol with a spoon, you did not drink it but you certainly consumed it.
 
How do you make yogurt with raw milk without heating it above 115 degrees?
I make yogurt weekly, using store whole milk. I drink the raw for my calcium.
I still heat it to 180° then lower it to 115° before I ferment it. I know that is not really considered raw at that point but it tastes so much better, and ferments better, in my experience, then store bought

I understand but, the natural ingredients are heated away by the high temp. I am going to try to remove the butterfat from the top, then use the raw milk and keep it at 110 for 20 hours. I will add a little gelatin and see what happens.
