When I'm going to be outside for a while, yes. I have a few to choose from - baseball caps, wide brim sun hats, Australian outback hat, and beanies.

A beany when I go out on my bike and it’s freezing cold.
A suncap or baseball cap in summer on a hike when it’s very warm and sunny.
A shawl when I don’t want to wash my have after odd jobs (sawing, pruning).
I have an Italian sun hat that hangs as an ornament on the wall in the hallway.
And I should buy a bike cap when I ride on my e-bike, for safety reasons.
