I'll wear baseball caps when going out in public, but they don't cover nearly enough to be useful.

Throughout my teenage and young adult life this was my daily hat, which I still use if my other one is indisposed for whatever reason.

Shortly after moving here my husband found me a hat that covers way more of my face and neck without being cumbersome or in the way.

And yes, I do live in old army clothing. That stuff is indestructible.
