Same for me. I don’t think the supermarket sells it.Don't eat oatmeal
I can't imagine any supermarket not selling it. It would be in the cereal aisle with the hot cereals, across from the boxed cold cereals. It's in a cylundrical bos like this, and comes in "old-fashioned" and "quick-cooking" varieties, as well as instant (just add hot water, or microwave).Same for me. I don’t think the supermarket sells it.
I do eat oat flakes mixed with dried fruits and seeds (kind of a musli) with yoghurt.
I know I can buy oat meal at the mill to mix it with wheat to bake bread or cookies. I’ve never seen it in the supermarket but I checked and they do have it, at least online. Wholegrain and refined. Only one brand. Its not a very common product here.Oh ... sorry, @BDutch, maybe they don't sell it in your country?
That looks more like cream of wheat to me.I know I can buy oat meal at the mill to mix it with wheat to bake bread or cookies. I’ve never seen it in the supermarket but I checked and they do have it, at least online. Wholegrain and refined. Only one brand. Its not a very common product here.
Oat flakes are more common and available in all kind of brands and sometimes with fruits in it too.
Online the supermarket sells Quaker oat flakes too. In plain, with banana, apple and cinnamon, chocolate, etc. Quaker is a very expensive brand here.
Im beginning to wonder… do you say oatmeal for what is actually oat-flakes?
