I’ve been raising chickens for 6 years, and I’ve have multiple olive layers. This year we bought a batch of chickens from a different local store than usual, and we got two olive layers. They both lay by now, and are fully grown, but they look different from most. They do lay olive colored eggs, but represent a barred rock. I’ve heard that they might be a mix, but I just wanted to check.

Olive Eggers are mixed breeds.
