I recently got three new girl,two are blue andalusians and the other is a partridge rock.Do partridge rocks not grow as quick because she is still quiet small in comparasion.She seems happy and healthy.
So glad you could join our community! Congratulations on getting your new chicks. You've picked out some beautiful breeds! I just love the blue color of Andalusians and other blue birds. In response to your question, all chicks grow at different rates. I've never heard that Partridge Rocks were particularly slow growing, but growth rates vary from bird to bird. I wouldn't worry about her as long as she eats and drinks normally and doesn't get picked on by the other birds. She could be slightly younger than the other chickens, or a runt. With good care I've found that even runts turn into beautiful, productive birds eventually.
