Has anyone crossed a Dominique Rooster with Rhode Island Red hens or Ameracauna Hens?

I'm curious as to what I would get with these combinations. Here are my rooster and hens in question:

Beautiful birds! I love the Rhode Island Red, always wanted one.

As for breeding, it all depends on the genetics. I can't exactly predict what the birds will look like, but I can try. Barring is most likely dominant in Dominques, so this is my theory:

Dominque/Rhode Island: Barred with reddish tinge. Red-barred. Walnut comb

Dominque/Easter Egger: Barred, or gold barred, perhaps. Rose comb.

Thank you so much for your response! What you guess is what I was also guessing, so maybe we are right ;)

@Blackberry18 Thanks again... my chicks hatched and they are so cute! I am really confused though because two of the Dom/RIR crosses hatched solid yellow and 1 hatched mostly black (a little yellow on head and belly). My Dom/Amercaucana eggs all hatched black and yellow!

Any thoughts on the 2 yellow and 1 black from the same hen??? Crazy!

Here's a few pics just cause they are so cute!

Adorable! I'm kind of changing my thought, too. A red gene male and a barred gene hen usually make a Black Sex-Link, where the female are black with gold-red breasts and the males are barred, but since your cross is opposite in gender, then so will the appearance. That's my thought, but the yellow chicks are a big surprise! Any clue to what color the feathers color is?

I guess it will all be a big surprise as far as gender. I suspect the one looking at the camera in my first picture if a male...as he is pretty bold already.

I was trying to look at the little bit of feather that is growing, but cannot tell much yet. They are only 2 days old today. :)

I suppose. Good luck!

Any guesses on gender yet? ;) They are two weeks old.

Thank you @junebuggena .... I know it's too early to tell for sure, but I have fun guessing. I actually have two that I suspect are roosters already, based on behavior and posture. :) But time will tell! :)
