The 4th of July I hatched 4 legorn/ ee crosses for my neighbor. These birds turned out beautiful. They are white and have little muffs and the long necks of the EE's. They came from blue eggs. They are not yet old ehough to lay but she was wondering what color the eggs may be. We are really hoping with the leghorn in them they will lay better then the EE's. By the way they were an even hatch 2 boys 2 girls.

In the case of the OP, no; they will not be green. Since the eggs that hatched were blue, chances of green eggs are pretty much nil. The girls will lay either blue eggs if they inherited the blue eggshell gene from their mother, or white if they did not. Since the EE lays blue eggs, she does not carry genes for brown eggshell coatings. If the EE only has one copy of the blue eggshell gene, some of her offspring may not have inherited it, and if that is the case, they will lay white eggs. If the EE mom has two copies, all will inherit her copy, but they will also inherit Daddy Leghorn's not-blue eggshell (white eggshell) gene, and the shade of blue may be lighter than the mother's.

Thats kind of what I figured maybe a really pale blue almost white with a blue tinge.
