question on food/water placement......

Do i/should i put both a feeder and a waterer in both the coop and the run? Right now i just have a hanging feeder in the coop and 1 waterer that i bring into the coop at night and move outside during the day, thats the plan anyway i have just had these RIR's for a day now.
Also whats the best way to keep the waterer clean? They scratched up enough around it and made it pretty muddy in short order.

I have food in coop only, they freerange so its up to them to find food outside of the coop, they tend to spend most of the day foraging, but if they want they can come inside and eat. I have waterers in both locations, that way they can stay out all day if they want.

To keep the waterer clean, raise it off the ground, I have mine sitting on a cinder block, and usually stays clean unless they get really rambunctious in the coop, throwing the wood chips around.

Both of mine are inside the coop. My feeder hangs and my waterer sets on top just less than a foot off the ground. They can get their heads but from time to time get straw in it.
