question on hatching at this time of year?

I have 13 in the incubator that are developing, still need to check the nine under my broody hen. We are on day 13. I will be checking them within the next hour.

It was around 10 degrees when I received them.

I am trying to hatch my own. Even with the cold, my hens are still laying good. Actually I have 5 that have started laying since it has been cold. I got 10 eggs today from my flock. Some are still too young to lay.

Oh, this is encouraging! I don't have a rooster..not allowed where I live, so I have to order them to hatch them. Man I wish I could have a roo or two..I've seen some beautiful ones out there. I love the Welsummer roo, and I just saw some beautiful Lavender Ameraucanas for sale on here...wish I could afford them!
