Question on leaf helper spring kits?

So... I'm trying to do a trailer build. I have a thread for this. It came to my attention doing it, that 1 side of the trailer leans slightly. It doesn't seem to have any problems and is stable. But in diagnosing it, people with this kind of symptom set describe it as a leaf spring issue (caused by previous owner).

But even if this hadn't happened, I wouldn't have any idea how much weight a homemade trailer could hold anyway? And since its like this, the likelihood of using it for some cargo necessitates the idea of strengthening that position anyway even if I hadn't had this as a problem itself.

So people solve this with a 'leaf helper spring kit'. Or leaf spring helper kit, however you say it.

My question is ; Will you still be able to install helper springs if your older leaf springs that they are getting attached too are less bow shaped than others? And will this be an issue? Thanks. (Haha, not sure if anyone here even has had to deal with this. But its very likely it would come up with farm equipment.) Also I lack blacksmithing infrastructure so I can't heat them up to bend them to match each other.

Here's an example video on youtube on how they work & install (although it doesn't mean I actually know everything, and not my video.);

I also wondered if; If you were putting the leaf spring helper kit on the trailer (instead of your truck) that you were pulling would you still put them on the back of the axle? Or would the positioning change a bit? Thanks.

Here's another example video but from a different guy;

If your springs have lost their arch you need new springs. Adding helper springs will just make the trailer more bouncy and most likely cause the already weak springs to stress and break.
