question on my hen

my hen almost always has its eyes closed and is constantley clucking?

Is she eating and drinking normally? Any evidence of mites on her head that could irritate her eyes? What do you use for bedding? I don't think clucking is a problem, she's a chicken

she eats and drinks fine and no mites.i know she just never stops clucking the others are quiet

i use pine shavings.

As long as she is eating, drinking, pooping, and moving about fairly normally, I wouldn't worry. Some chickens are quiet and some are very chatty. Some are "talk" quietly, and others are loud. My barred rock is always talking, but it's a low, soft chatter. I hardly ever hear my EE. They're all different. Are her eyes mostly closed when she's sitting, content??? I mean, she's not walking around with her eyes closed, right??? lol
