Question on %Spaulding

It isn't possible to accurately figure the percentage after the first cross of Blue and Green that makes 50%.  The matching of the chromosomes while dividing is like the lottery.  Some chicks get more and some chicks get less.  It is not possible to know for sure how much genetic material they get from each parent.

Any figure other than 50% is pure speculation.

Good point. The hen also of unknown Origins, his sister I assume, looks just like some 50% hens that I own I had just never seen what a 50% peacock looks like.
 
Part of the problem too is the instability in appearance with hybrids. The above comments explain it in more technical terms but unless you develop a specific strain of spaldings (which almost no one does anymore) there is no way to predict the appearance of a bird no matter what its parents were/are.
