Question on the Board

I am curious. I read, with interest, the earlier post on censorship of other chicken sites. Hope I don't get eliminated here, but I believe it doesn't hurt to read and learn from other chicken people. So I wanted to check out the other site this evening. Now I see all references to it have been deleted.
This is a great site that I have enjoyed immensely. I've learned alot from the people here, and everyone is kind, open-minded and very willing to help anybody.
As a "person of color," I have to deal with unfair treatment and mistrust on or near the rez nearly daily. Let's please not do it here too. This place has been a breath of fresh air. Please consider allowing references to other sites.

Julie, I completely understand and agree with you. If this helps any I have seen this same thing happen on other boards. Basically a conflict arose, tempers flared, people left and started a new board. Both boards fit a nitch, each became the community they wanted to be. It took a while but the dust cleared and time healed all wounds, now they aren't best of buddies so to speak, but they do get along. They even link to each other. Eventually it will happen here too. Both boards have their place. I know one thing for sure your gonna find people that care about chickens on either board.
