I got some eggs that were laid from Golden Comets and I have read that they do not breed true so I am wondering what will I end up with? Will they still be considered Golden Comets or will they be mutts?

They will be 'mutts'.

You can breed two purebreeds and get predictable offspring.

You cannot breed two crossbreeds and get predicatable results. They will vary in nearly every aspect of size, growth rate, color, production, etc.

Now if you have a RIR cockrel and a RIW pullet, you can make your own sex links.

It's fun, do it.

Ok. Thanks and congrats on the new title. I will hopefully have a RIR roo once the 24 RIR eggs in the bator hatch so I guess I need to be on the hunt for a RIW hen. I do have white leghorn pullets but I don't suppose those will work.
