Does anyone know what this means? I have submitted the question to Peggy Hall at OSU and also my twp zoning officer but no answer yet! I need to figure out if we are in a subdivision that is not platted. I know we are not platted, but have 3.5 acres; just to make SURE we are ok with chickens!

b.) In any platted subdivision approved under ORC section 711.05, 711.09, or 711.10 or an area consisting
of fifteen (15) or more lots approved under Section 711.131 of the Ohio Revised Code that are contiguous to
one another, or some of which are contiguous to one another and adjacent to one (1) side of a dedicated
public road, and the balance of which are contiguous to one another and adjacent to the opposite side of the
same dedicated public road, agriculture shall be regulated by the following provisions and SECTION 115 -

I am updating this since I just found out from the county auditor/appraiser that we are not part of any subdivision! I just hate that they make the language so hard to decipher. That part I was unsure of pretty much says "This regulates agriculture in platted subdivisions but also if you are part of an unplatted subdivision" And how in the heck do you know if it's unplatted? Pretty sure it wont be spelled out anywhere. So you have to go and check with someone. I am printing my email from him in case anyone gives me grief!

It is so hard to figure out what some of those things say. Legaleze should be considered a foreign language.
