Hi all

This is a question for a friend of mine who has a large coop with 19 chickens of ages from 6 weeks to 2 years.

He wants to know is it ok to be putting the feed mixes, which include growers, and layers inside the coop. Thus being the little ones may also be getting layers aswell as growers. Would this be harming the little ones at all..

Sorry for the dumb question...

Thanks

Layer has too much calcium for little ones.... any chance she can try to teach them who's food is who's?? It won't hurt the little chicks to eat layer once in a while, but it's best that they eat their own..

Welllll....how do we keep them from eating the big girl stuff if they are almost as big as the layers (I have an adult quail hen with a 10week old OEGB in one pen and an adult bantie with a 10week old bantie in another.)
