Question re: interaction of teeth and prescription meds?

So... I was curious to ask this here. Part of why I thought to ask this here and pick your minds was the fact that most of the country has sort of become this big cesspool of evil and greed. So you can't really trust people, even in healthcare without hearing a second opinion. Or ... especially talking to people who also have a medical condition can also sometimes tell you their experience. *To be clear, I'm talking genuine prescription drugs, not street drugs.*

I heard someone say that if you are on some kinds of medications that it can mess up your teeth. Make them decay really fast.

Does anyone know anything about this? And I wonder why I haven't heard it before? And which kinds of meds is it? Is it everything or only certain kinds?

Seeing as how I kind of need my teeth, I was worried about this.

Just a quick 3 second Googler search of medications that affect teeth and gums gives pages of results. It would be up to the reader/researcher to determine the validity of the information they pull up.
