Hi all! I have a 10 month old Oliver Egger, Sassy, who stopped laying eggs about 3 weeks ago. She stopped during a blizzard and cold snap. I’ve been hoping it was just stress/weather related, however, I wanted to check for thoughts on here. We lost our other Oliver Egger in December with a reproductive issue (kept getting egg bound, laying soft shell eggs, stopped laying, and eventually died after a couple weeks). Sassy, has presented differently. She just stopped laying, none of the straining like our other bird, she’s plenty active and seems to be eating and drinking fine. I’m including a picture of her. I did observe a poop today that looked a little different - see picture. She is with two Lavender Orpingtons, who both seem healthy and continue to lay eggs almost daily. I’d so appreciate any thoughts/insights any of you veteran chicken owners might have. I’m hoping it’s nothing and she is fine, but I also want to be proactive if there is something going on. Thanks so much!

She looks perfectly healthy. Nice bright eyes, healthy looking plumage and alert stance.
If you didn't tell me anything else about that poop, I'd think it was a broody poop. It doesn't look bad to me.
For whatever reason, sometimes when the hens start back up laying again in the spring, they lay a little willy nilly. Have you checked around the coop for any eggs tucked in the corners? I've found that at least a half dozen times so far this spring with my flock.

Thanks so much for your response! That’s what I’ve been hoping, but I definitely have a little anxiety after my experience with our other OE, so I felt like I should reach out. I really appreciate the feedback!
