Question regarding chicks & duckling eyes

So I couldn't help but wonder this morning, how far chicks and ducklings can see?

How far developed are their eyes actually? Are they born fully developed or just mostly developed?

(With mammals their eyes usually take a few days to start to work. And I know they aren't mammals, but this is comparing them to this...)

A quick google told me that ducks see better than they here, and further and sharper than humans. Not A complete answer to your question. They do see (almost) immediately after hatching from my own observation. Since they need to follow their mom pretty soon in the wild
