Question regarding lemon cake

    I do not have a lemon, or lemon juice. What I do have is lemon extract. Will that work in a white cake recipe? How much extract?

    I would use one tsp. of extract in a cake mix.
    Do you have a pack of koolaid or Country time lemonaide? It makes the best flavor for frosting.
